Tips + Policies

Important Things to Know

  • Before you are tattooed you will be asked to sign a Tattoo Consent Form and provide a form of government issued identification.

  • Time estimations given are not always accurate. Please do not schedule your appointment when you have priorities after your session. I do not rush tattoos.

  • To prevent stress on my hands, I can only work for 6-7 hours max (This excludes a lunch break). If the tattoo is not complete after then, we will have to schedule another day and time to finish it. Please be aware of this!

  • Avoid drinking alcohol, caffeine or nicotine 24 hours before your appointment. These substances may result in excess bleeding which makes tattooing more difficult for the artist.

  • Ensure you have showered and applied personal hygiene products before your appointment. The adrenaline causes most people to sweat. If you’re getting a tattoo on your calf/foot area, be sure to thoroughly wash your feet as your shoes will need to be taken off.

  • Be sure to moisturize the area of skin being tattooed consistently for at least a week prior to your appointment. This allows for a smoother ink application.

  • Please eat a solid meal and drink water at least an hour before your appointment.

  • If you are a first timer, please be aware that your ability to sit still greatly impacts the quality of work I am able to give you and how long the tattoo will take. If you believe you will need numbing cream, read below.

  • NUMBING CREAM POLICY:

    • I do not mind if clients use numbing cream however, the only brand I recommend using is the ‘Tattoo Numbing Cream Co’ brand in a white tube (5% lidocaine). Other creams can interfere with the texture of the skin.

    • Creams must be applied and wrapped in saran wrap 90 minutes before your appointment. Be sure to order it prior to your appointment so you can receive it in time.

    • If you are using numbing cream for the first time, you must do a patch test 24 hours prior to your appointment. Slight redness and minimal swelling in the area is normal. Bumps, excessive swelling or itching are not normal and may indicate you are allergic to the numbing cream. These symptoms can form many hours after application so be sure to do a patch test a few days before your appointment.

  • Smoking and Vaping are not allowed in the studio.

  • Feel free to bring headphones, a great book or any essentials you would need to make your experience more comfortable! I do love to talk but sometimes I do have to remain silent to focus well.

  • Remove all tanners/tanning agents from the area prior to your appointment.

  • Please let me know if you will be running late for an appointment, things happen and I understand.

  • After two reschedules there is a $75 reschedule fee.

  • If you choose to cancel an appointment, please remember deposits are non-refundable.

  • No call No Show clients will be permanently banned from booking.
